The following is an e-mail I got from a friend ... Read before you vote for the library ...

HI,

I am writing to urge everyone to vote "NO" on the library item in Tuesday's election. Within the recent past, the Town of Grafton closed two library branches because they could not afford to operate those libraries and the utilization of those now closed libraries was low.

I find it difficult to comprehend that in a just a short period of time, we now have a need for an $11 million "Tay Mahal".

I am most certain that the new high school will have the most recent library resources available to students when it opens in September. The remaining schools all have libraries that are satisfactory for children.

In the age of the internet for various research projects and the addition of the Kindle more recently, people have numerous resources for books and the like.

Make the Center Library ADA compliant and move the children's library to the Nelson library. These options were never given to the residents.

Please share this with all of your friends and neighbors and remind them to vote "NO" on Tuesday, December 13th.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.
