Burn Your Brush, Not Your House

Open Burning season begins today, Jan. 15, in Massachusetts. Here are some tips to prevent bodily and property harm.

Every year during the open burning season brush fires get out of control across the commonwealth, and the Massachusetts Fire Marshal and local Fire Chiefs want you to remain safe this year. The season begins today, Jan. 15, and continues through April 30, although depending on weather conditions, burning may not be allowed every day. Before you burn your brush here are a few things you need to know:
