No Meat on Fridays and More Rules of Lent

Here's a quick glance at the guidelines for the Lenten season, including a list of Grafton-area restaurants that offer non-meat dinner options during Lent (and beyond).

The season of Lent is upon us and that means no meat on Fridays, but did you know that rule does not apply to all Catholics?  It's true. According to www.AmericanCatholic.org, there are specific rules of Lent pertaining to fasting, abstinence, and penance.  Fasting Abstinence We asked some of our fans on Facebook where Grafton residents go locally for a non-meat dinner on Fridays. Among the suggestions? Bushel n Peck, for their lightly breaded haddock dinner or shrimp with tomatoes and scallions... Scales in Millbury... and Pepperoni Express for its fish and chips dinner.
