An informational program for writers that was postponed from earlier this week because of weather will be held Monday in the adult area of the Grafton Public Library. "Is Self-publishing or small-press publishing right for you," features Cheryl Cory, author and co-founder of the Worcester Writers Collaborative. Cory, the self-published author of the Must've Done Something Good series, will help lead a discussion exploring the pros and cons of the different publishing options. She will also be signing books. The Grafton Library Working Group wants to find out what future library products and services should be provided to the community. The group, dedicated to assisting with future communications and service offerings of the library, has developed a quick online survey for residents. At present, the GLWG is not involved with any current library construction or renovation upgrades.

The library will be closed Saturday and early Tuesday to ensure a smooth transition to the new Evergreen catalog system. The library will also be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. To avoid an overwhelming flood of returns during the first days Evergreen is in use, three-week items will be due the second week of June. The week before migration, seven-day items will be checked out for three weeks.
