Feed Your Head and Feed the Hungry
The Grafton Public Library and Grafton Food Bank team up to feed less fortunate families.
The holidays are here and for most that means indulging in plentiful meals with loved ones. But some Grafton families are still feeling the effects from the struggling economy. To help the town families keep full this Christmas, the Grafton Food Bank and the Grafton Public Library have teamed up to collect non-perishable and canned foods. Through Dec. 31, anyone with an overdue book fine at the library can bring in a non-perishable food item and have the fine waived. This only applies to overdue book fines, not for lost or billed items. The food bank provided many families with holiday baskets for Thanksgiving, and is looking to do the same for Christmas, along with supplying toys and children's clothes.
