Danielle's Pub Named Best Breakfast Place

The grateful owner thanks his customers and the town.

Congratulations to Danielle’s Pub, named the best place to have breakfast in Grafton. The popular pub received nearly half of the ballots cast. Forty-four voters gave the pub the nod out of 92 votes cast. Owner Dennis Goe said the honor made his day. “I’m very, very privileged,’’ he said. “That’s an honor.’’ Danielle’s Pub has been serving breakfast for 33 years, with the exception of one year when the business was dealing with the aftermath of a fire. “I love my customers. I love everyone in Grafton,’’ he said. “I enjoy my job.’’ And based on the results of the poll, people in Grafton are glad he does. Congratulations also go to Donut Star, which placed second with 18 votes, and Post Office Pub, which earned the bronze with 16 nods. …

Cut Loose Voted Cut Above the Rest

The salon wins big in our latest poll.

The votes are in, and by a wide margin, Cut Loose Hair Studio has been voted a cut above all the other hair salons in town. The salon received 83 of 125 votes cast. “Thank you so much for all our loyal customers for helping us be the best salon in Grafton,’’ said owner and stylist Joanna Wagner. “We truly appreciate you all. Come in now for your new spring look and enjoy our new manicure and pedicure services. Thank you again from the entire staff of Cut Loose Hair Studio.’’ Thanks to everyone who voted! Readers' Choice Best of Patch Winner: Dean Park Pizza

Dean Park Pizza in Shrewsbury has a lot more than just pizza on their menu.

This week, our readers chose an unlikely place to eat Irish food, but the restaurant offers a full menu, not just pizza. The winner of the Patch Readers' Choice: Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day is: Dean Park Pizza. Receiving 26 percent of the total votes, Dean Park Pizza will be serving corned beef and cabbage every day through Sunday. The pizza place is located just around the corner for the largest park in Shrewsbury, Dean Park, and is open Monday through Sunday from noon to 11 p.m. with breakfast served on Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 11:30 a.m. Dean Park Pizza also offers online ordering and catering, just not after 9 p.m. daily.
