Grafton Man Charged with Assaulting Pregnant Wife

Noah Springer, 30, was arrested Sunday night.

A Grafton man was released on $750 cash bail Monday after his arraignment on charges that he assaulted his wife, who is nine weeks pregnant.  Noah U. Springer, 30, of 130 Keith Hill Rd., Grafton, faces one count of assault and battery and is due back in court Jan. 30.  According to court documents and a police report, the incident began Sunday evening when police responded to a 911 call about a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived, they found the alleged victim "distraught" and were told that Springer had left the house with his 6-year-old son.  Police asked other local departments to be on the lookout for Springer's black Lexus SUV. I believe there is some 14 year old girl that the above unknown should be tiddling with as that seems to be what he likes...cant pay his own child support, can't return stolen merchandise and yet here he is opening his mouth to something that he thinks he actually knows about when really...he is exactly like his abusive old man...sad I feel bad for the fact that he will never be a good guy   more ›

In Court: Alleged Copper Thieves Arraigned

The following cases were heard in Westborough District Court.

Christopher A. Shaw, 32, of 33 Hopkinton Rd., Westborough, was summonsed on a complaint from the Northborough police department on charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime and four counts of conspiracy. Judge Robert Calgione set bail at $500 cash and set a pretrial hearing for Oct. 31. Northborough police allege Shaw conspired with another person to steal and sell copper piping from vacant homes in town.   Keefe J. Morrison, 30, of 33 White Court, Clinton, was summonsed on a complaint from the Northborough police department on charges of defacing property and breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit a felony. In Court: Third OUI, Wegman's Larceny

The following cases were heard in Westborough District Court.

Monday, Oct. 1 Brian A. Dolliff, 35, of 43 South St., Apt. 2, Westborough, was arraigned before Judge Vito Virzi on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, third offense, and failure to stop or yield. Dolliff had been arrested by Westborough police early Monday morning on East Main Street. In his report, the arresting officer said he had to swerve his cruiser to avoid being struck by Dolliff's car. Dolliff was released on $2,000 bail, ordered not to drive a motor vehicle, and is due back in court on Nov. 14. Jeffrey M. Lavin, 35, of 3 Versailles St., Marlborough, was summonsed to court on a complaint from the Southborough Police Department on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. …

Cops: Murder Threat Leads to Search, A&B on Officer

The arrest stemmed from an alleged incident in Grafton Tuesday afternoon.

Shrewsbury police arrested a 48-year-old Grafton man Tuesday, following a request for help from Grafton police, who said he threatened to kill his girlfriend. Grafton police issued a "be on the lookout notice," Tuesday night for Thomas F. Hussey, of 58 Londonderry Rd., Grafton. They said Hussey was wanted on two warrants, and for threatening to kill his girlfriend. Hussey was believed to be driving a 2008 Chevy Avalanche and to be armed. According to the Shrewsbury police log, Hussey has a "long, violent criminal history." Most recently, according to court records, Hussey was found guilty in September 2011 of assault and battery.
