The Grafton Fire Department, led by Fire Chief Michael E. Gauthier, is one of the largest call fire departments in the state. It has three stations: Station One on Upton Street, which is also the headquarters; Station Two on Mill Street, North Grafton; and Station Three on Main Street, South Grafton. The Department offers safety programs at schools, nursing homes, the Department of Youth Services facilities and groups around town.
