Rain Moves 'Here Comes the Sun' Inside
The Beatles For Sale tribute band opened the Grafton Concerts on the Common series Wednesday night.
Grafton residents eager to hear "Here Comes the Sun" on the Common on Wednesday night heard Beatles tunes instead in the Grafton Memorial Municipal Center.
The Beatles For Sale tribute band opened the Grafton Concerts on the Common series inside due to the rain.
The band played a wide range of Beatles songs, including "All My Loving" and "Yellow Submarine."
The rest of the schedule is:
- July 17: Lynn Jolicoeur and the Pulse
- July 24: Jesse Fontaine and the Quartet
- July 31: 5 on Friday
- Aug. 7: Jumpin' Juba
- Aug. 14: Slow Grass
Admission is free to the shows, which start at 7 p.m., according to the Grafton Recreation Department's Summer 2013 brochure. Rain would move the concert into the Grafton Middle School auditorium.
