Latest Summer Concert on Common was a Hit

The Jesse Fontaine Quartet performed the third in this year's Grafton Concerts on the Common series


Before he and his quartet performed Van Morrison's "Crazy Love" on the Grafton Common on Wednesday night, Jesse Fontaine told the audience he saw some of his music students in the crowd.

The Jesse Fontaine Quartet then continued introducing Grafton to some classic selections.

The quartet opened the third in this year's Grafton Concerts on the Common series with "Thought About You," followed by "Almost Like Being in Love" and "All of Me."

The Beatles For Sale tribute band opened the concert series two weeks ago. Lynn Jolicoeur and the Pulse performed last week.

The rest of the schedule is:

Admission is free to the shows, which start at 7 p.m., according to the Grafton Recreation Department's Summer 2013 brochure. Rain would move the concert into the Grafton Middle School auditorium.
