School might be out for the summer, but some of our top stories this week revolved around the school department.
This week the School Committee took upon changes to the Student Code of Conduct. They added a section for students who engage in physical acts of affection, raised lunch prices and addressed an issue with tardy students.
The school news didn't stop there; Assistant Superintendent Lucielle Boutiette announced that she will retire this fall after 30 years in the district. Superintendent Jay Cummings posted the vacancy this week.
