Breaking & Entering, Furnishing Alcohol to Minor Among Week's Arrests

The following information was provided by the Grafton Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Sunday, May 12

12:21 a.m.: A general disturbance was reported on North Street. Police responded and will be seeking a summons to charge Mary Ouellette, 49, of 69 North St., Grafton, with selling/delivering/furnishing an alcoholic beverage to a minor and keeping a noisy and disorderly house.

10:35 p.m.: Police responded to a family disturbance on Countryside Road; someone was taken to the hospital.

Monday, May 13

8:19 a.m.: Police stopped a vehicle on North Main and Shrewsbury streets. They will be seeking a summons to charge Joshua P. Scherdell, 26, of 23 Prentice St., Apt. 2, Grafton, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

10:45 a.m.: Illegal dumping was reported on Brigham Hill Road.

11:40 a.m.: Illegal burning was reported on Follette Street.

1:01 p.m.: Police arrested a 14-year-old on Providence Road and charged the teen with a crime against the public peace and threatening to commit a crime.

Tuesday, May 14

9:07 a.m.: Illegal dumping was investigated on Stowe Road and Upton Street.

3:41 p.m.: William Maldonado, 41, of 80 Dorchester St., Apt. 2, Worcester, was arrested on Worcester Street and charged on a default warrant and a straight warrant.

6:49 p.m.: A past breaking and entering was investigated on Fitzpatrick Road.

10:48 p.m.: Police responded to a family disturbance on Main Street. Dennis B. Thrush, 29, of 76A Main St., Grafton, was arrested and charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and wantonly injuring real or personal property.

Wednesday, May 15

7:35 a.m.: Vandalism was reported on Hudson Avenue.

8:33 a.m.: Vandalism was reported on Christopher Drive.

9:33 a.m.: Vandalism was reported on Keith Hill Road.

7:30 p.m.: Police will be seeking a summons to charge John M. Ferrari, 36, of 10 Chronin Brook Wy., Millbury, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

Thursday, May 16

11 a.m.: Illegal dumping was investigated on Main Street.

Friday, May 17

10:34 a.m.: Police stopped a vehicle on North Brigham Hill Road and took a man into custody. George R. Buitta, 47, of 50 Queens Wy., Apt. 12, Framingham, was arrested and charged on three warrants, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, giving a false name/address, having an uninsured motor vehicle and operating after revocation of registration.

Saturday, May 18

7:57 a.m.: After receiving a report of a family disturbance on Providence Road, police took two people into protective custody for alcohol.

10:40 a.m.: Suspicious activity was reported on Hudson Avenue. Police responded and arrested two juveniles and a 17-year-old. Caitlyn J. Eastman, 17, of 1 Fitzpatrick Rd., Grafton, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony, larceny over $250 and trespassing. A 13-year-old and a 15-year-old were arrested and face the same charges.
