Obits: 24-Year-Old, WWII Aircraft Mechanic and "Happy"

Northborough — Troy Lee Church, 97, died of natural causes at Beaumont of Northborough (MA) on Monday, August 12, 2013.
Church grew up on a farm, then enlisted in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He was trained as an aircraft sheet metal mechanic, and served in the European theatre of war. After the war, he joined Briggs-Shaffner, an aluminum products company, in Winston-Salem, NC. He retired in 1986, after nearly 40 years with the company. A lifelong member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, he served as a Boy Scout leader, a Sunday School teacher, and longtime usher and greeter.

Marlborough — Richard S. Nicholls," Happy", 69, of Marlborough, MA, died Tuesday, August 6, 2013
Raised in Revere, he attended Revere High School. He had been self employed for over 20 years as a repair technician and service consultant for the autowash industry. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Marlborough. 
Aptly nicknamed "Happy", he found pleasure in sailing, fishing, cars, trucks, his friends and his grandchildren. 

Natick — James Winston Armistead, II of Natick died suddenly on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Norwood Hospital. He was only 54 years old.   
He was a United States Marine and served our country proudly during the Granada War and moved to Natick to open the Home Depot Store of Natick and had lived here ever since.
He also worked for the Roche Brothers Grocery Store of Natick and prior to that worked in construction and for the Caterpillar Corporation.   

Shrewsbury — Sean Patrick Capuano, 24, died on Friday, August 9, 2013 after a brief stay at UMass Memorial Medical Center- University Campus
He was born in Worcester, son of the late Rita-Ann M. (Prescott) Capuano and lived in Shrewsbury since 1989. He graduated from Shrewsbury High School and earned a bachelors degree from Worcester State University. He was studying to earn his masters degree in occupational therapy.
