Grafton Loses 95-Year-Old WWII Vet

Earl V. Bergenholtz, 95, who lived many years in Grafton, died Aug. 14 after a brief illness. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and worked as a tool & dye maker at Reed & Prince, Millard Engineering and United Tool & Dye before retiring at age 65. He was also a member of the Grafton Rifle Club and the Grafton Fish & Game Club. A funeral service was held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Fund – Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster St., Worcester, MA 01609.
