As drum rolls and horns echo throughout the Nation, a North Grafton 1830s mansion is inspiring toots.

Four Uncle Sam nutcrackers, each holding a flag from one military branch, stand guard at the Bergeron Creative Mansion, at 151 Worcester St., on this Independence Day.

"We wanted to pay our respect for the troops," Bergeron Creative Studios Vice President and Chief Communications Officer Dara King said Wednesday.

King said that with the 34th Annual Concert on the Common scheduled for Wednesday night, the nationally recognized award-winning branding firm "wanted to make a statement."

"We've had a few people stop and take pictures," King said.
