The Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC) will hold its First Annual Buddy Walk and Harvest Fair in Central Mass. on Sunday, September 22, 2013 in Uxbridge, MA.
The early autumn celebration is expected to bring together more than 500 people, including individuals with Down syndrome, family members and friends, to raise both awareness about Down syndrome and critical funds to support our programs and advocacy work.
This event will be held at River Bend Farm, a picturesque farmland setting, and the 1-mile walk route is nestled along the historic Blackstone Canal. Come to Uxbridge for a day of country-fair fun that includes a live band performance by SPUR, a petting zoo, games with Knucklebones, a hay bale maze, children's entertainment, refreshments, and much more!
