Bring your children to Apple Tree Arts free "Mixed Age Move & Grove" class on Dec. 14 for children one to four-years-old. Invite your friends, too. Siblings are welcome. Please call 508-839-4286 to reserve your space. All classes are taught by Early Childhood Music Educators and are held at the Grafton Town House, One Grafton Common.

The nonprofit community music and theatre arts school is offering free early childhood music classes starting Tuesday, Dec. 11 through Dec. 14 for infants and children one to five-years-old.

"Mixed Age Move & Groove” helps children to build their musical repertoire and allows older ones to model for younger children and lets them enjoy the opportunity to watch older children.

Apple Tree Arts is where children experience the joy of music making. Active music making has been proven to help build brain power, support language development and help with the development of coordination, fine motor and creative thinking skills. The school uses the critically acclaimed Musik Garten curriculum which provides students with a pathway to musical literacy through rhythmic and aural experiences.

Early childhood music classes also nurture critical listening and thinking skills, support pre-reading skills and assist with the understanding of math and spatial relationships.

Registration for the winter semester of the early childhood music program is ongoing. Classes are held for 10-weeks and begin in early January. Register today online at www.appletreearts.org  using PayPal or call us at 508-839-4286 to use a credit card or mail-in the registration form with a check or credit card information or visit us at One Grafton Common.

Founded in 1989, Apple Tree Arts is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization that has grown to serve over 1,000 children and adults annually with early childhood music classes, group keyboard lessons, private music and voice instruction, ensembles, theatre arts programs and concerts.  For more information, visit www.appletreearts.org.
