Free Early Childhood Music Classes

Bring your children to Apple Tree Arts free "Tots and Tunes" class on Dec. 14 for children three to four years old. Invite your friends to join you, too. Classes are taught by Early Childhood Music Educators and are held at the Grafton Town House, One Grafton Common.

Please call 508-838-4286 to reserve your space. The nonprofit community music and theatre arts school is offering free early childhood music classes starting Dec. 11 through Dec. 14 for infants and children one to five-years-old.

The “Tots and Tunes” class for children three to five-years-old helps builds the foundation for students to acheive musical literacy. Recorded listening and movement activities are increased. Children’s aural growth is nurtured with songs and dances appropriate for this age.

Apple Tree Arts is where children experience the joy of music making. Active music making has been proven to help build brain power, support language development and help with the development of coordination, fine motor and creative thinking skills. The school uses the critically acclaimed Musik Garten curriculum which provides students with a pathway to musical literacy through rhythmic and aural experiences.

Early childhood music classes also nurture critical listening and thinking skills, support pre-reading skills and assist with the understanding of math and spatial relationships.
