Today, Worcester County Sheriff Lew Evangelidis endorsed David Muradian for State Representative of the Ninth Worcester District. Citing Mr. Muradian’s seven years of legislative experience working with Representative George Peterson, and vast knowledge of the district, Sheriff Evangelidis said David is best equipped to represent the residents and businesses of Grafton, Northbridge and Upton.

“From working with David during my time as a legislator on Beacon Hill, and now as Worcester County Sheriff, I know firsthand that he would be an invaluable asset to, and resource for, the residents of the Ninth Worcester District, especially with his seven years of experience working as Representative George Peterson’s Director of Local Affairs,” said Sheriff Evangelidis. “Born and raised in Central Massachusetts, David understands the issues facing the constituents of the district and will be able to be a staunch advocate on their behalf in the House of Representatives. I am honored to endorse David, and I look forward to joining him on the campaign trail as he delivers his message to the voters.”

David Muradian continues to garner the endorsements of key figures within Central Massachusetts. Recently Representative George Peterson (R-Grafton) endorsed David’s candidacy for State Representative.

“I am honored to receive Sheriff Evangelidis’ endorsement, and I thank him for this continued support of my campaign for State Representative,” said David Muradian. “Having served as a lawmaker, and now Sheriff, Lew has earned the respect of many, thanks to his hard work and dedication to public safety issues on behalf of the residents of Grafton, Northbridge, Upton, and the surrounding communities.”

A lifelong resident of Central Massachusetts, Mr. Muradian is a Worcester Country Reserve Deputy Sheriff, a member of the Knights of Vartan, which is a group promoting Armenian heritage, a member of Gun Owner's Action League, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Worcester State University. David currently resides with his wife Jessica in Grafton, where he is active in the Republican Town Committee.
