In the News: House-breaks on the Rise, Chili Festival This Weekend

Break-ins on the Rise in Town

Police have investigated house-breaks in several areas, including Stowe Road, North Street, Merriam Road, George Hill Road and Adams Road, Police Chief Normand Crepeau Jr. told the Grafton Daily Voice. In most instances, "the intruder entered the home through an open or unlocked door or window," Crepeau said.

Fall Festival With Chili Challenge is This Weekend

The Telegram & Gazette previewed this weekend's fall festival, sponsored by the North Grafton Business Association. Scheduled for noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Samara & North Grafton parking lots at 217 Worcester Rd., the festival is $4 to attend. Read the story here.

It's a Love-Sign Mystery

On Wednesday, the Daily Voice published a photo of a message posted to a utility poll on Milford Road; the sign was directed to a woman named Kathy. Clearly a message of affection (roses were attached to this sign and others), it certainly turned commuters' heads.
