Break-ins on the Rise in Town

Police have investigated house-breaks in several areas, including Stowe Road, North Street, Merriam Road, George Hill Road and Adams Road, Police Chief Normand Crepeau Jr. told the Grafton Daily Voice. In most instances, "the intruder entered the home through an open or unlocked door or window," Crepeau said.

On Wednesday, the Daily Voice published a photo of a message posted to a utility poll on Milford Road; the sign was directed to a woman named Kathy. Clearly a message of affection (roses were attached to this sign and others), it certainly turned commuters' heads.
