PHOTO CONTEST: Show Us Your Foliage Pics

Upload a picture you've taken of fall foliage, and you could win a $25 gift card.

UPDATED, Oct. 16: We have a winner!

ORIGINAL STORY: There is arguably no better time to live in New England than when foliage is at its peak.

We're just about there: so get out your cameras.

In our inaugural Picture of the Week contest, we are inviting readers to upload the best photos they've taken of fall foliage.

The contest, which starts today and continues through the year with 12 different topics, allows eligible participants the chance to win a $25 gift card to a local business.

We’ll be taking photo submissions each week from 5 a.m. Wednesday until 6 p.m. the following Monday. The winner, chosen by Patch editors, will be announced on Tuesday.

Photos of fall foliage must be uploaded by 6 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, Oct. 15. You may enter as many photos as you'd like. If you like a particular photo, voice your support for it in the comments.

Eligibility is limited to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.

To upload your photo, just sign in to Patch, click the "Upload Photos and Videos" button on this article, choose a photo you'd like to submit, add a caption, and save.

For full rules, see the PDF attached to this article.

We can't wait to see your pictures!

These are gorgeous. We were in the White Mountains over Columbus Day weekend, and I'll have to sort through and see what I find.

Grafton Patch; you have an extremely hard decision with all these great photos! They all deserve to be in some sort of display somewhere? Maybe someone can think of something ; )

Hi, Tina: We certainly have our work cut out for us! We will be keeping all of these beautiful entries on the site so we can look at them over and over again! (I, for one, will want to look again once we've lost all the leaves and are staring at gloomy, barren trees.)

I want to use all of these as a rotating screensaver for my computer! Seriously, they're awesome.
