Grafton Man Toasts with Sam Adams Founder Jim Koch

On Monday night, it was last call for Todd Ruggere and the Mass Beer Tour. Ruggere, of Grafton, completed his personal challenge of having a Samuel Adams beer in every city and town in Massachusetts last night with Samuel Adams Brewer and Founder, Jim Koch. The journey, which was started to raise funds for cancer research, took just under a year and brought Ruggere to bars, backyards, and even barns, to raise money for pediatric cancer programs. Koch toasted Ruggere’s efforts at the Samuel Adams Brewery in Jamaica Plain in front of his family and friends, and presented him with a check to add to his fundraising efforts.
