Grafton Resident Now Leads Nation's Court Reporters

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Grafton.

It's Wednesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Grafton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. A Grafton resident now leads the nation's court reporters.

Grafton's Nancy Varallo has been named president of the National Court Reporters Association for 2013-2014, the group announced in a press release. Varallo owns The Varallo Group in Worcester.

2. Catch Grafton's last summer concert of the season.

Slow Grass wraps up this year's Grafton Concerts on the Common series at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Admission is free to the shows. Rain would move the concert into the Grafton Middle School auditorium.

3. You'll be a Knight to remember.

The Grafton Public Library holds a drop-in craft: make your own helmet event from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday.

4. Watch the mockingbird.

Two seniors at the Cummings School for Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University recently helped a mockingbird.

5. What's new at North Grafton Elementary?
