Currently, we have 290 followers on Facebook, a nice increase from last week’s 278. Our Twitter followers also increased from 172 to 176.

The Facebook post with this most impressions this week was the announcement that the and our note that it was a rough start to the school year for new superintendent of schools Jay Cummings. The story received 662 impressions.
The next most popular posting was the news that, with a headline nod to Elton John, the Beach is Back. That posting, a reference to the story about Silver Lake Beach reopening after high E. coli levels, received 620 impressions.
And thanks to all who followed our minute-by-minute coverage of the storm on Sunday. Members of the town’s emergency management team graciously allowed us full use of the emergency center and we got the news right from them to you.
