BREAKING NEWS: Outages Could Last Four Days

National Grid reports that restoration could take days.

The town could be out of power for as long as four days, National Grid is reporting.

The town has been advised to prepare for four days of power outages, town director of emergency management Ray Mead reports.

More than 90 percent of the town has no power, National Grid told Mead. About 7,000 customers are impacted.

Seventeen transmission lines are out.

Millions of people are without power from New Jersey to New Hampshire.

Crews are arriving from Ohio, Michigan, Texas, New York and the Carolinas, but most will not arrive until tomorrow.
