If you haven't given any of these places a try, consider stopping by for a sub if and when you're in town. Let us know in the comments: is your favorite sandwich shop among this list?

Love the Sandwich shop in Newton -- and in it there is Jake's Corner. Middle Eastern fare. It is terrific. I get a fabulous salad with all the trimmings and tabuli plus strips of white meat chicken. He makes me a special honey mustard dressing and I could eat there every day. Plus the ones who own it are the nicest people. You can get regular sandwiches as well as the Middle Eastern type. GREAT shop very homey!
