Grafton Teen Still Missing; Could be in Waltham or Somerville

Julia Lomberto was last seen Jan. 29.

Grafton teen Julia Rose Lomberto is still missing.

Chief Normand A. Crepeau said Thursday morning it is still believed she could be in the Waltham or Somerville area.

Waltham Police Officer Kristen Tracey, the high school resource officer in Waltham, tweeted that Lomberto's grandparents live in Waltham and she has previously said she wanted to return to Waltham.

Julia is 15 years old, and described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, with blue eyes and dark long hair. She weighs 130 pounds and has an athletic build. She has four piercings and possibly facial acne. Police on Wednesday put out a notice that she was missing.

Lomberto left Grafton High School at 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 29 and took a taxi, with a friend, to Vernon Street in Worcester, according to Grafton Police. Her friend was located but Lomberto remains missing.

Anyone with information about Julia is asked to contact the Grafton Police Department at 508-839-5343.
