Grafton Schools Recognize Bullying Awareness Month
In recognition of Bullying Awareness and Prevention Month, North Street Elementary School has organized activities.

The month of October is Bullying Awareness and Prevention Month. Students at North Street Elementary School will be partaking in many activities throughout the month.
These activities include presentations from District Attorney Joe Early Jr.’s office, student-led workshops, “Daily Words Of Wisdom,” Spirit Weeks and participation in the national “Mix It Up At Lunch Program.” Students at all grade levels have been participating in the planning and presentation. Bullying awareness and prevention is also covered through curriculum in the “Responsive Classroom” and “2nd Steps” programs on an ongoing basis.
North Street Elementary School will be hosting District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.’s Community and School Outreach Program on Bullying and Cyberbullying at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the cafeteria. Topics to be covered include:
-New bullying law and other bullying laws
-Definition of bullying and cyberbullying
-Bullying through existing and new technology and social media.
-Ways to keep your children safe online and in the community
