It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and in Grafton, Sunday, Dec. 4 is the most wonderful day of all.
Grafton Celebrates the Holidays is annual celebration of the season. A wide range of holiday activities is planned, ending with a visit from Santa on a fire truck and the lighting of the tree on the Common.
Here is the schedule:
Frosty Stop 1: Willard House and Clock Museum, 11 Willard St.
Celebrate a traditional 19th century holiday.
Frosty Stop 2: Tufts Veterinary School, 100 Westborough Rd.
Staff and student carolers will entertain from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., visit the animal menagerie.
Frosty Stop 3: Pecorino Country Cheese Shop, 135 Westborough Rd.
A festive open house from noon to 3 p.m.
A gingerbread house contest and cookie walk at St. Andrew’s from noon to 3:30 p.m.
Baked goods and mini-craft fair at North Grafton Methodist. Lunch served.
Kids make snow flake ornaments while adults enjoy a chair massage at the spa.
Free flower for children at Floral Elegance. Free balloons at 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Wellesley Therapeutic.
Frosty Stop 6: North Grafton Shopping Center, 7-8 Williams Rd.
Frosty Stop 7: Brigham Hill Community Barn, 37 Wheeler Rd.
Make s’mores on an outdoor fire after a horse-drawn wagon ride. See displays from town non-profits, including Community Harvest Project, Grafton Land Trust, Grafton Shakespeare Club and Grafton Garden Club.
Frosty Stop 8: Country Plaza Shopping Center, 100 Worcester St.
Frosty Stop 9: Pepperoni Express, 92 Worcester St.
Free slice of pizza for children. Feed the animals and ride the camel at the petting zoo.
Frosty Stop 10: Santa’s Village at Grafton Suburban Credit Union, Lions Club of Grafton, 86 Worcester St.
Santa will visit from noon to 3:30 p.m., get free photo with Santa. Drop-off site for Toys for Tots through Dec. 16.
Frosty Stop 11: New Beginnings Massage and Wellness Studio 79 Hair Design, 79 Worcester St.
Free chair massages for adults, hair braiding with beads and nail polishing.
Frosty Stop 12: Grafton Police Station, 28 Providence Rd.
Tour the station and meet department members from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free badges and coloring books for children; meet McGruff the Crime Dog. Free kids’ ID kits from Charter Communications.
Frosty Stop 13: Grafton Municipal Center, 30 Providence Rd., Food Bank craft fair and lunch.
Soup, sandwiches and crafts from area artisans from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop-off site for Toys for Tots and for non-perishable food for the Grafton Food Bank.
Frosty Stop 14: Grafton Center Fire Station, 26 Upton St.
Refreshments, tours, drop off letters to Santa. Collection site from 1 to 3 p.m. for Share the Warmth, help Junior Girl Scout troop 30225 collect new and gently used coats, mittens, hats and gloves for adults and new bed linens.

Free samples of appetizers.
Frosty Stop 16: Gibson Kennels, 139 Upton St.
Have a photo taken of your pet with Santa from noon to 4 p.m. Proceeds benefit Dog Orphans, a non-kill shelter in Douglas.
Frosty Stop 17: Hillside Meadows Equestrian Center, 111 George Hill Rd.
Tour the farm and have photos taken with the horses; bring your own camera.

Visit the newly restored engine bay and lock up; refreshments served.

Open house from 1 to 4 p.m. with refreshments and studio tours; bring a DVD and make a message to loved ones in the military.
Frosty Stop 25: Brookmeadow Village, 373 Providence Rd., South Grafton
Tour the model home at WGB Homes while children decorate holiday ornaments.
Frosty Stop 26: Brookmeadow Crossing, 377 Providence Rd., South Grafton.
Children can ride the trackless train and pet the Angel Hair Alpacas.
At Millbury Federal Credit Union from noon to 4 p.m., refreshments and coffee will be served, drop-off for non-perishable food for the Grafton Food Bank.

Storyteller Diane Edgecomb presents “Once Upon a Wintertime’’ at 3 p.m. at Grafton Public Library.
Cookies and cider at Grafton Inn, with holiday photos to benefit Multiple Sclerosis society.
Tour the Grafton & Upton Railroad caboose, behind the Grafton Inn, with free whistles to the first 100 kids.
The Unitarian Society of Grafton & Upton features a concert at 1 p.m., hot lunch from noon to 4 p.m. and a wreath and artisan sale.
