Grilling a hamburger in Bushel 'N Peck's kitchen, Chef and Manager Mike Ashley describes what makes his sandwich shop different than others.

"We prepare all of our ingredients fresh. Our bread is made in a bakery in Worcester and it's not like we are getting everything shipped in," Ashley said.

The sandwich shop opened in Grafton on Monday, replacing Branded Bear Deli, which closed in August

Offering prepared meals, soup and gluten-free choices, the sandwich spot hopes to attract customers for three meals per day.

"We are catering to everyone," Ashley said. "If you don't feel like cooking you can come in here and grab something pretty affordably."

Tried it out Tuesday and was IMPRESSED! We dined in at lunch time but it doesn't stop at just a sandwich joint for lunch. Homemade hot food of all sorts was available as well as tons of salads, wraps/sandwiches and healthy options. I am super psyched I can swing by and grab something prepared to heat up for dinner or meet my girlfriend for our monthly breakfast! Looking good Chef Mike Ashley! A great touch to the town of Grafton!

Needs light on exit side of building. Welcome business sorely needed in Grafton. Fries in Fish and Chips cool and salty not hot like fish. Warmer fries under the fish. 1st Friday and was packed. Still far better than any other Fish and Chip in Grafton.

Rik, I love fish and chips: can you tell me, are they lightly breaded or is it more of the deep-fry, thick batter style?

lightly breaded - perfectly coooked. Best around Grafton Area, bar none.
