Dennis D. Flynn, Craig Dauphinais, Bruce Spinney and Robert Nault have all thrown their hats in to the Board of Selectmen ring, pulling nomination papers for this spring's election, according to the Grafton Daily Voice.
There are two open seats as Selectmen David Ross and Peter Adams will not be running for re-election.
Flynn's voice was first heard when he opposed the propane transfer station in town. He is a retired superintendent of schools in Harvard.
Dauphinais is a former chairman of the Selectmen.
Spinney is a former Planning Board Chairman, and is running for the third time.
Nault is a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Four fine candidates. I hope the candidates make an effort to make public appearances during which the voters can meet, greet, and question - with time for followups. Perhaps they can schedule appearances at the Senior Center, South Grafton Community Center, Community Barn, and library. Either together or alone. I would really like to know if they want to "Be Something" or "Do Something".
