Did you know The Grafton Public Library provides a home delivery program to Grafton residents who for physical reasons are unable to use the library.
The program is available on a short-term basis for individuals who have had an accident or illness that keeps them homebound for a period of time, or on a long-term basis for seniors and individuals with disabilities who are physically unable to get to the library. This service provides home delivery of library materials which include: books, magazines, videos, DVDs, music CDs, books on tape or books on CDs. Materials may be ordered from other libraries if not available at the Grafton Public Library.
Home delivery patrons are contacted Tuesday mornings to determine what is needed. Some patrons prefer to select the titles and authors themselves; others leave the material selection up to the library staff. Deliveries are made during the afternoon by volunteers who deliver new books and pick up materials for returns. Patrons may choose to have delivery once a week, every other week or once a month, or on an as-needed basis.
If you are interested in the home delivery program, please call 508-839-4649. You will be asked to complete a brief Home Delivery Request Form to help us best fit your needs. A library card is required to participate in the program. If you don't have a card, library staff will assist you in getting one.
