Grafton Community Television Welcomes Local Organizations For Group Tours
Each January and February Grafton Community Television hosts small group tours of its cable public access TV facilities. Visiting groups have included local cub scouts, girl scouts, and Grafton's Destination Imagination teams. The groups receive a guided tour of the studio, and are also given the opportunity to produce both a Station I.D. for the Channel,
as well as a Public Service Announcement for their group for broadcast on GCTV.
Group tours are conducted, by reservation, on Monday evenings during January and February and are hosted by Kris McMullin, Public Access Coordinator for Grafton. Tours are held at the GCTV studios located at 296 Providence Rd. in South Grafton. Tour reservations may be arranged by contacting the studio at 508-839-2983 or email Kris at
GCTV@GraftonTV.org.
According to Kris McMullin, "We're always happy to open our doors to local nonprofit organizations. The kids always seem to have a good time, and obviously we here at the studio do to. And it's a great way for the organizations to get their message out through public service announcements."
